Ive been looking at meal tracking apps for a couple days and even though I read the one review that was here, I decided to try this one. Ive been using it for 2 days and unless I can find one that is actually better, I may stick with it.
The two problems I have found so far are the inability to fix an entry and not having photos save to the photo roll. It really does not matter if I label dinner as a snack, but I do like to be accurate when I record things. Ill be showing this to my trainer and I dont like that Im going to have to point out that my dinner was labelled as a snack instead of dinner.
I would like to be able to reuse photos instead of having to photograph the same bottle of protein powder twice a day. If it records photos so that I can reuse them, I have not figured it out yet.
Things I like:
The flexibility of what I can list or enter.
I can change the time entry if I am not able to enter stuff in real time.
I can retake the photos.
I can record protein and carb grams at the time I list the entry. My first complaint is because I cant enter it later. I would like to add a line for fat grams. I cant tell if that flexibility is built in the app yet.
There is flexibility in the description area. I can write whatever I need to say.
I can make one random note entry each day. Like today I had dental work so I could not actually eat for a few hours- I could mention that in a note.
I am probably going to stick with this app because in theory I can share my data with my trainer. I have not tried to set that up yet, so no feedback on that feature yet.
This is a great start to a meal tracker app!
